Meet the Office Staff/Part 2

Posted by: | Comments (1)

Our office manager, Annette Jones, has been with us since 1985. She was the first person I interviewed for the job that day twenty-five years ago, and what a terrific decision that turned out to be. She later confided that she was just going to take the job until she found something better. Fortunately for all of us, she didn’t leave!! Her boyfriend Joe started working for us later that year; they got married and have a daughter and son, and Joe is our Construction Manager. Below is a recent picture of Annette at the counter in our showroom. She is multi-talented and a genuine asset to our company.

May I help you?

May I help you?

Thanks for taking the time to meet our office staff. We’re here to serve the plumbing and construction needs of Phoenix and the greater valley, and our office is always ready to assist you. Whether it is a leaky faucet, water heater replacement, or a bath and kitchen remodel, we have qualified technicians to provide you first-rate service and a wonderful office staff to assist you.

Next blog, we’ll introduce our new receptionist/secretary.

Meet the Office Staff/Part 1

Posted by: | Comments (2)

I am re-posting this blog in the hopes it will appear on our Facebook page, so here goes again.

We like to build relationships with our customers and strive to earn your loyalty. I thought it would be nice to devote the next few blogs to our office staff. Many of you that have called the office know our names but not much of anything else. Let us introduce ourselves.

I’m Karen Qualtire, and Dennis and I have owned Qualtire Plumbing & Construction since 1985 when we purchased the company from his parents. We have three children and three granddaughters. I’m usually in the office at least three days a week, and sometimes our two poodles accompany me to work. Here is a recent picture taken in our showroom of me with Tia and Toby.

A Time to Remodel?

Posted by: | Comments (4)

Because of our declining real estate values, you may wonder if it’s wise to do that kitchen or bath remodel at this time. Instead of remodeling the entire kitchen, maybe you can spruce it up with some new counter tops and tile flooring or that bathroom with a new shower or a new vanity with an updated lavatory faucet. Again, we’re talking about affordable options that work within your budget.

Because price is such an important consideration these days, some may be tempted to hire that unlicensed individual. But if you have a problem three months or six months from now, will you still be able to find that individual? If he installs a new water heater for you, will he offer a six-year warranty on that tank and be available to do that warranty work if you should have the need? Qualtire Plumbing and Construction has been serving the valley since 1964, and you can trust that we will be here for you. If that water heater leaks five and a half years later, you know you can call us; and we will do the warranty work ourselves. No outsourcing.

Repairing a Noisy Toilet

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Let’s say you have a running toilet. Just changing the flapper, with a 30-day warranty, may do the trick. Because the other parts in the toilet are the same age as the flapper, you may choose to replace all of the parts with a six-month warranty. But maybe the toilet is just not worth spending any money on, so you choose to purchase a new toilet with our two-year warranty. Once our service technician diagnoses your problem, he can then give you different options. You can then make the choice, depending on your budget and circumstances, based on what’s best for you at this particular time.

Again, we’re talking about affordable options that work within your budget.

Affordable Options

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Welcome to our newly designed website and blog. Many thanks to the talents of Maggiore Consulting & Marketing for making this a reality.

We would like to take a moment to wish you all a belated Happy New Year. Even though we are optimistic that 2010 brings new opportunities, we also know that economic challenges remain. Consequently, good service is just not enough these days. We know that our customers want value for their money. Whether it is a plumbing or construction repair, a sewer drain cleaning, or a kitchen and bath remodel, we understand that affordable options must be available.
